Synchronization protocol



Definition

The transmission unit is a data block composed of multiple bytes or multiple bits. It is synchronized only at the beginning of the frame, and a fixed clock is maintained within the frame.

Type

Synchronization protocol can be divided into three types: character-oriented synchronization protocol, bit-oriented synchronization protocol and byte counting-oriented synchronization protocol
