Developmenthistory

TheembryonicformofthecommunicationengineeringmajororiginatedfromthewirelessgateestablishedbyShanghaiJiaotongUniversityin1917intheelectricalengineeringmajor,andthewiredcommunicationandwirelesscommunicationgateestablishedin1921.In1934,TsinghuaUniversityestablishedtheTelecommunicationsGroupintheDepartmentofElectricalEngineering.Intheearly1930s,ZhejiangUniversityestablishedasubjectgroupintheDepartmentofElectricalEngineering-TelecommunicationsGroup(orTelecomGate),whichwastheoriginalformofZhejiangUniversity'scommunicationsengineeringmajor.

In1952,basedonSoviethighereducation,Chinabegantoadjustthedepartmentsanddepartments,andtheprofessionalmodelwasgraduallyfinalized.TsinghuaUniversityandPekingUniversity'selectricalengineeringdepartmentmergedandestablishedTsinghuaUniversityRadioEngineeringDepartment,ShanghaiJiaotongUniversityestablishedtheDepartmentofTelecommunications.In1957,communicationmajorsweresetupintheintroductionofcollegeadmissionsguidancemajors,includingthreemajors:telephoneandtelegraphcommunication,radiocommunicationandbroadcasting,postandtelecommunicationseconomicsandcomposition.In1962,theintroductionofcollegeadmissionsmajorsaddedthedesignandmanufacturingofwiredelectricalequipmenttothecommunicationscategory,andseparatedtheradiotechnologyandelectronicsrelatedtocommunicationsengineeringfromtheelectricalmanufacturingandelectricalequipmentmanufacturingcategories,andsetupaspecialRadiotechnologyandelectronics.

Inthe1960sand1970s,themajorofcommunicationsengineeringchangedalot.Forexample,atTsinghuaUniversity,mostoftheDepartmentofElectronicEngineeringmovedtoMianyang,Sichuanin1969,andtheMianyangbranchofTsinghuaUniversitywasestablished.In1978,hemovedbacktoBeijingandresumedtheestablishmentoftheDepartmentofRadioElectronics.Inordertobroadenthemajorsandmeettheneedsoftechnologicaldevelopment,theprofessionalsettingswereadjusted,andatotalof3radiotechnologyandinformationsystems,physicalelectronicsandoptoelectronicstechnology,andmicroelectronicswereadded.Undergraduatemajors.

In1979,TongjiUniversitybegantorecruitthefirstbatchofundergraduatestudentsmajoringincommunicationsengineering.In1980,NorthChinaElectricPowerUniversityrenamedtheoriginalTelecommunicationsandTelecontrolProgramtotheDepartmentofCommunicationEngineering,whichwasaffiliatedwiththeDepartmentofElectronicEngineering.ItwasthefirstuniversityinthepowerindustrytosetupthemajorofCommunicationEngineering.

In1984,theMinistryofEducationregulatedtheundergraduatemajorsofcollegesanduniversities,andofficiallypromulgatedthegeneralprofessionalcatalogofengineeringundergraduatesincollegesanduniversities,andsetupthecommunicationengineeringmajorintheengineering,andtheprofessionalcodeisengineering1001.SincethenEngineeringwasestablishedasaformalprofessionalname.

In1986,inthecatalogueoftheprofessionalsettingandtheintroductionofgraduatesingeneralcollegesanduniversitiesacrossthecountry,thecommunicationcategorywasestablishedasaseparatesubjectcategory.Theoriginalcommunicationengineering,telecommunicationsengineering,powersystemcommunication,andcommunicationsystemengineeringThemajorsoftelecommunicationstechnology,groundcommunicationequipmentmaintenance,digitalcommunications,railwaydigitalcommunications,sportsandcommunications,andmeteorologicalcommunicationshaveallbeenadjustedtocommunicationsengineeringmajors.

In1993,intheundergraduateprofessionalcatalogandprofessionalprofileofordinarycollegesanduniversitiespromulgatedbytheMinistryofEducation,theelectrical-relatedmajorsintheengineeringcategoryweredividedintotwobranches:electricalengineeringandelectronicsandinformation.Communicationengineeringbelongstoelectronics.Withtheinformationmajor,themajorcodeis080712,whichisdesignatedastheweakcurrentmajor.Theoriginalcommunicationengineering,wireless,multi-channelcommunication,andcomputercommunicationmajorsareallclassifiedascommunicationengineeringmajors.

In1998,theMinistryofEducationpromulgatedthe"OrdinaryCollegesandUniversitiesUndergraduateProfessionalCatalogue(Promulgatedin1998)",whichmergedthetwobranchesofelectricalengineeringandelectronicsandinformationintoelectricalinformation,andthemajorofcommunicationengineeringbelongstoelectricalForinformationmajors,themajorcodeischangedto080604.Boththeoriginalcommunicationsengineeringandcomputercommunicationsmajorsarecollectivelyreferredtoascommunicationsengineeringmajors.

Curriculumsystem

Overallframework

Theknowledgesystemofcommunicationengineeringmajorincludesgeneralknowledge,subjectbasicknowledge,professionalknowledge,practicalteaching,etc.Thecurriculumshouldsupporttheachievementoftraininggoals,andthecurriculumsystemshouldsupporttheeffectiveachievementofgraduationrequirements.

Generaleducationcreditsaccountforabout40%ofthetotalcredits.Mainlyinclude:ideologicalandpoliticaleducationandhumanitiesandsocialsciencescoursecredits,mathematicsandnaturalsciencescoursecredits,economicmanagementcoursecredits,foreignlanguagecoursecredits,computerinformationtechnologycoursecredits,innovationandentrepreneurshipcoursecreditsandphysicaleducationcoursecredits.Eachcollegemayadjustthecreditsappropriatelyaccordingtotheactualsituation.

Theproportionoffull-timeteacherswithamaster'sdegreeandaboveisnotlessthan60%,andtheproportionwithadoctoratedegreeisnotlessthan30%.Full-timeteachersundertheageof35musthaveamaster'sdegreeorabove.

Thepersoninchargeofamajorshouldhaveaseniorprofessionalandtechnicalposition,havehighacademicattainmentsintheprofessionalfield,andbefamiliarwithandundertaketheteachingofthemajor.

Teacherswhoareengagedinteachingworkmusthaveaneducationalbackgroundinelectronicinformationmajorsorrelateddisciplinesandshouldmeetoneofthefollowingconditions:(1)Bachelordegreeinelectronicinformationmajor,ormasterordoctoratedegreeOneofthedisciplinesofInformationandCommunicationEngineering,ElectronicScienceandTechnology,OpticalEngineering,andPhysics;(2)Hasbeenengagedinprofessionalteachingandscientificresearchformorethan5years;(3)Hasobtainednationalorinternationalqualificationsorcertificationsinelectronicinformationrelatedindustries.

Teachersshouldhavesufficientteachingabilitytocarryoutscientificresearch,technologydevelopment,engineeringpractice,participateinacademicexchanges,andmeettheneedsofprofessionalteaching.Allfull-timeteachersmustobtainateacherqualificationcertificateforhighereducation.Teachersshouldbeproficientinthecontentofthecurriculum,andbeabletodesigntheteachingprocessrationallyaccordingtothetalenttrainingobjectives,thecontentandcharacteristicsofthecurriculum,thecharacteristicsandlearningconditionsofthestudents,andthecombinationofmodernteachingconceptsandeducationaltechnology,soastoteachstudentsinaccordancewiththeiraptitudeandfocusonresults.

1.Teachinglaboratories

(1)Ithasphysicslaboratories,electricalandelectroniclaboratories,electronicinformationprofessionalbasiclaboratories,andprofessionallaboratories.Theexperimentalequipmentisintactandsufficient.Functionallytomeettheneedsofteaching,thevalueofexperimentalteachingequipmentperstudentisnotlessthan5,000yuan;

(2)Thereisagoodequipmentmanagement,maintenanceandupdatemechanism,andtheaveragevalueofequipmentupdatedinthepast5yearsisnotlessthanLessthan10%,andtheintactrateofexistinginstrumentsandequipmentisnotlessthan95%,whichcanmeettheneedsofexperimentalteaching;

(3)Basiccoursesandprofessionalbasiccoursesarerecommendedforonepersoninonegroup.Underspecialcircumstances,eachgroupdoesnotMorethan2people;eachgroupofcomprehensiveexperimentsandlarge-scaleinstrumentexperimentsshouldnotexceed4peopletoimprovestudents'independentthinkingandindependentoperationability;

(4)Thelaboratoryshouldprovideopenservicestomeetstudents'learninginandoutofclassRequirementstoimproveequipmentutilization;

(5)Theexperimentalteachingprocessmanagementstandard,experimentalteachingplan,teachingsyllabus,experimentalinstructionbookandothermaterialsarecomplete.Thelaboratoryconstructionhasalong-termconstructionplanandashort-termworkplan.Itshouldnotonlyfocusonprofessionalbasicexperiments,butalsofocusonthedevelopmentofnewdirectionsandnewtechnologies.Itmustalsocombineprofessionalexpertiseandlocaleconomicdevelopmentneedstobuildprofessionallaboratories;

(6)Thenumberofexperimentaltechniciansissufficient,whocanmanageandmaintainexperimentalequipmentproficiently,andensuretheeffectiveuseoftheexperimentalenvironmentandthesmoothprogressofstudentexperiments.

(1)Buildanon-campuspracticebaseaccordingtolocalconditions,whichcanprovidestudentsparticipatinginthepracticeteachingsessionwithsufficientequipmentusetime,andSpecialinstructorsaresetuptotrackandguidestudents’practicecontentandprocess;
