Average seek time (Averageseektime)

refers to the time it takes for the hard disk to ban the promotion (automatic filtering of advertisements) on the disk from moving the read-write head to the designated track to find the corresponding target data. It describes the hard disk's ability to read data, in milliseconds. When the capacity of a single disc increases, the moving distance of the seek action and the prohibition of propaganda (automatic advertising filter) of the head will decrease, thereby reducing the average seek time and speeding up the hard disk. At present, the average seek time of mainstream hard drives on the market is generally below 9ms, and hard drives greater than 10ms are older products and are generally not worth buying.
